The Savory Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 2-3 ice cubes
- 1 cup kale
- 1 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1/3 medium banana
- 1 scoop of collagen powder
- 1 scoop of protein powder
- 1 tbsp of basil or chia seeds
- 2 cups almond milk
Process
- Place all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
Tips:
- You can use fresh or frozen produce in this smoothie.
- This smoothie is not as sweet as many others. Optional: 1 date if you want it to be a little sweeter.
- If your blender is not high-speed, blend the greens and nut milk first. This will help prevent any large pieces of spinach.
- You want a total of at least 25 grams of protein.
- If you are hungry in less than 4 hours, increase your protein and fat next time you make this smoothie.
