Daily Insulin Dose and Cancer Risk Among Patients With Type 1 Diabetes
tl;dr: By doing this study in people with Type 1 diabetes, researchers were able to truly see the effect of insulin on cancer risk, since any insulin in their system is exogenous (added from outside the body). The finding? Risk of cancer goes up as insulin levels go up.

tl;dr: A new examination of data from 55,000 people over 20 years revealed that 94% of adults have at least one poor cardiometabolic measure, and it’s getting worse over time.

New Study: Serious Mental Illness Improves on Ketogenic Diet
tl;dr: A small study in France of 31 people with major depression, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia showed that a ketogenic diet improved symptoms for 100% of patients and 43% achieved clinical remission.
