Dry Rub Baked Chicken Wings

Ranch Dressing

Recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Make the dry rub first by adding all of the spices to a jar or small bowl and mix well. 1 tablespoon paprika,2 teaspoons garlic powder,9 spices make up this tasty dry rub,2 teaspoons onion powder,1 ½ teaspoons sea salt,1 teaspoon oregano,1 teaspoon cumin,¾ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper,½ teaspoon cayenne pepper,½ teaspoon chili powder
  3. Dry the chicken wings and drumsticks very well with paper towels- this is an important step, so don’t skip this part!
  4. In a large bowl, put the dried chicken pieces and coat completely with 2 tablespoons of olive or avocado oil, using your hands or tongs.
  5. Sprinkle the oil coated chicken with all of the dry rub and toss to coat completely.
  6. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper (for easy clean up) and place a wire rack over the paper.
  7. Place the dry rub coated chicken on the rack and leave space in between pieces so they get crispy.
  8. Bake for 35-45 minutes (depending on the size of your wings and drumsticks), until browned and cooked thoroughly.
