Ingredients

For the bagels:

Process

  1. Add 1 cup flour, baking powder, and salt into a bowl and mix together. If you want to make savory bagels, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of nutritional yeast. If you want to make them sweet, add a sprinkle of cinnamon.
  2. Mix in Greek yogurt with a rubber spatula until combined.
  3. Put in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill. This makes the dough easier to knead.
  4. Spread the remaining flour across a flat surface covered with parchment paper and knead the dough until it gets less sticky. At that point, separate the dough into 4 balls, roll into 1-inch coils, and join at the ends.
  5. Brush the dough with the egg white wash and roll in seasoning (salt, everything but the bagel seasoning, more cinnamon; whatever your heart desires!)
  6. Lift the parchment paper up and place it with the bagels directly in the air fryer.
  7. Air fry at 300F for 25-35 minutes (check after 25 minutes to determine if you need more time)
